My husband and I are getting ready to enter the TEFL world in about 6 weeks and we're not sure what to do about health insurance? Any advice from you experts out there? Also, since we are married do we both need to get work visas? Thanks for your help!

You should get travel insurance for your first little while here. Once you get your resident visa and ARC, you'll get a Taiwan public health care card (the health care system is public, like England and Canada's to some extent). You won't need any additional health insurance after that as you'll be covered by the public health system.

If you will both be working, you'll both need work permits.
