I am involved in a reading programme for primary 3 to 6 pupils and would welcome any strategies, suggestions, resource materials, that would help make an interesting lesson that teaches the learners the art of reading skills.

Dear Ger,

I apologies but I cant find the links right now.

The program was curriculum was developed as a shake up of Primary ELT.

The core objectives are:
Genuine TBL
Exposure to various text types to primary students with less emphasize on narratives.
An allocation of 40% of English lessons devoted to TBL Reading activities and follow on activities

The frequency will vary, depending on which core books you use, but typically 3 to 4 cycles per unit.

Which publisher are you going with? Any ideas yet?

Chris
