Apart from the very helpful sticky, there really isn't much about teaching in Panama. I'm wondering whether I can just turn up and find a decent job, or is it better to apply before, (which I'd prefer). I'm coming with my boyfriend, we are are both experienced EFL teachers with CELTAs. Has anyone got any recommendations of language schools (not interested in teaching kids). What's it like teacing in university there? are the students motivated in general?

about money, how much do you think we should save before we arrive? What would be the start up costs (first month rent, deposit, buying furniture maybe etc).
