Does anyone have any *updated* information on London School in Sochi? I've read the posts from 2000, 2003 and 2004, and was wondering what the current opinion is on the organization.

Is this the same London school that operates in the Ukraine (Kiev and Odessa) and also Bishkek? Or they just independent schools with, coincidentally the same name - it happens.

If the former, I'm in contact with them now about Kiev so I'll ask them about the Sochi school. It wouldn't be a bad place to live for a while.

I think they're different schools. I've seen the Sochi London School website, and it doesn't say anything about schools in Kiev, etc. But then again, I may be wrong.

They're all different schools. It's just coincidence.

Fancy that, three different English schools choose the name "London". What are the odds?

I have recently returned from russia where I was teaching at The London School Sochi.

This school is NOT connecred with any other schools in the world.

I have read some messages about it that were posted up to a month ago and befsre then.

It has become obvious to me that the school has become MUCH WORSE in recent months.

Payments not made for time taught

Your passport is taken off you and you are told that an extension on your visa has been obtained - this is a lie = you will NOT be given any Visa by this school and you will be trapped in Russia unable to even stay at a hotel because you have no visa. This happened to me and I had to sleep at the airport.

The teenagers play music and punch each other in the class - I am serious. Complain and you are told = they have paid and cannot be thrown out - teach them!

i'm sure that that school gets third place in the battle of the 'London Schools'.
