I am looking for a teaching job in Turkey. I don't want to work for a language school; I would rather teach English in a K12. I am not certified, however I do have an MA in linguistics and public K12 classroom experience. Any suggestions on where I should look? |

Before you decide to teach in a k-12 in Turkey, check the previous posts, which will give you a good idea of the kind of set up which is typical in the k-12's.
Be forewarned that the attrition rate for teachers in k-12's is huge, due largely, in part, to the policies currently prevailing in the private schools.
Most schools have teachers who are either fired or resign before the ends of their contracts.
You have been warned. |
