I am looking for a teaching job in Turkey. I don't want to work for a language school; I would rather teach English in a K12. I am not certified, however I do have an MA in linguistics and public K12 classroom experience. Any suggestions on where I should look?

Before you decide to teach in a k-12 in Turkey, check the previous posts, which will give you a good idea of the kind of set up which is typical in the k-12's.

Be forewarned that the attrition rate for teachers in k-12's is huge, due largely, in part, to the policies currently prevailing in the private schools.

Most schools have teachers who are either fired or resign before the ends of their contracts.
