Chile seems to be a place full of adventures. There have definitely been alot of ups and downs for me since learning to survive in a new country. The best advice that I can give is to be careful when going to any institute here in Chile. Santiago, specifically, is full of english institutes; ones that will survive for many more years and ones that don't deserve to even be open. One governmental organization, Sence encourages Chileans to learn english by financially assisting businesses pay for some classes for its'employees. Have other teachers here in South America had any experiences with SENCE classes? Any warnings for new teachers? I think it is important that people understand this little niche market for the english institutes a bit better.
