Hello! I am new to the idea of TEFL and am trying to decide if it's right for me. My main question is will I be able to get a job teaching english with a tefl certficate alone? I do not have a college degree. Thanks for your help!

You might be able to make it without at BA .......in some countries.......IF (important IF) you've got some professional qualifications, a certification, and a professional outlook.

But, there's a second issue in case you are from somewhere in North America - the EU citizenship thing. Please forgive the small rant if you are already completely aware of this. Very often people on this forum aren't.

If you do not have citizenship in an EU member country, you will have a difficult time getting a legal working visa for an EU country (like Spain). There are tons of qualified Brits & other EU citizens for the job market in western European countries, and without a BA and EU citizenship, your chances do go way down. Nothing's impossible...but you'll be facing a tough task. In my opinion and experience, if you have a reasonable amount of savings, so that you aren't tied to finding a regular paycheck quickly, it's not impossible to find a workable niche. But it probably won't be easy - and if you're thinking long-term, you will need to do a lot of research to make an informed decision.
Again, maybe none of the above applies to you! In any case, good luck.
