| I've been looking at online catalogs and pictures from different websites and I have yet to notice young Japanese women in very short shorts. In fact, I found the clothes to fit rather baggy. Is that what's considered appropriate -- very loose-fitting clothing and shorts that come to the knee? Not being slutty or anything, but I do think this is valuable information and it would really make me happy if you guys share. |

depends where you live. In the Tokyo area, girls wear skirts short by rolling them up.
Baggy clothes are popular with some people, and with hip-hop wanabees.
Cargo pants are common too. |

Turn on a TV ... the "women" in question are known as "Morning Musume." Save that, head over to Shibuya, you'll see plenty of skin; or Harajuku on a typical Sunday. |

The butts and thighs will be 'coming out'!! (Especially in the big cities where a lot of young girlies live).

In Osaka they love the mini skirts up to there- with bare legs in the freezing cold winter! I can only imagine what they will wear in the summer... But the skirts are pretty baggy- guess it's only slutty if it's short AND tight...  |
