Hi!
Everyone I'm just hoping you can help me on some questions I have about moving to Taiwan. Now I'm in China but I think I might want to change locations come next fall. Because my current school took care of all my visa stuff I basically know nothing concerning the issue. Here I go......!
First, what are some of the nicest cities in Taiwan (i.e. most beautiful).
And if you have some time, why?
Next, well, if I go to to Taiwan without a contract and look for work on my own, is it easy to find work in the range of about ten to 12 hours per week?( I worked to much this year and I'd really like to set up something to study at the same time I work if possible.
Oh, is it a problem finding a position if I go over at the end of August?
And when I go over, what visa should I get? Or better, what visas can be easily turned into z-visa? Do I need a z-visa?
Thaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnkkssssssss a big bunch!!!
Cheers!

You could come over several different ways.
- full time contract with a big language school (but you'd be working more hours than you indicated you wanted to).
- As a language student (visitor visa - 183 day visa which you must renew every 2 months).
- University language school student (Resident Visa).
