Hi,

I'm new to this forum, but old to this site....

I currently live in Sydney and am teaching at an Elicos school. The job is okay, but I feel the need to branch out above General English.

I just finished my Master's of Education in TESOL, and well I'm pretty keen to start using all that book knowledge in a classroom.

I'm really interested in intensive programs, such as camps, or teacher training programs.

Does anyone know of any school that offers these type of special programs in Sydney or in Australia?

There seems to be a lot of them in England, but I haven't come across any here.

If anyone has some guidance, I would be grateful.

I'm considering applying to a position in Europe, but would prefer to stay here this winter.

Cheers,

Chonbuk

Hi

There is an EF International Language School in Sydney on Young Street. I hear they are reputable and offer competitive benefits to teachers and administrators. If you have a Masters in TESOL perhaps you could be a trainer for future ESL teachers.

I am currently working on the same type of post-grad course here in the U.S. but it's been kind of tricky because I did a bachelor degree in Australia! I too just want to take the book knowledge and JUST TEACH.

Godd luck with whatever you do!
