Anybody done these courses? They are very similar TESOL courses, I think. Anybody recommentd or want to warn against either? I'm from Australia. Do you think your job prospects were even a little better because of the course?

Hey there, I don't know anything about Global, but I have completed my TESOL cert. with Teach International at the Perth office.
I thought it was well put together, comprehensive and the in class experience was lots of fun.
The down side from the in class unit was that my head hurt from all the cramming and didn't have time to do my shopping or laundry Laughing
It would have been better had they given us 1 more day with less hours each night.
Edit: I should add that the TESOL course was extremely beneficial for someone who has never taught anything. One of the students happened to be a primary school dep. principal. She commented on the grammar component and said that it was not as thoroughly covered in her teaching degree. Seems that TESOL/TEFL specialize a bit more on linguistics. I'd like to think I now have a clue on how to teach.
