I have a few ideas about how to go about getting a self sponsorship visa but am not exactly sure of the process required for this. It seems that this kind of visa is quite common so I am sure there is someone who can explain how it all works or at least let me know the best place to find the information about how to go about it. |

If you're talking about English teaching, it's usually from someone that has a few jobs that are steady, equal or better than full-time employment, the correct paperwork and hoping immigration accepts it.
If you've come here, without a job and are just looking to pick up stuff and sponsor yourself, good luck. It's probably slim to none...and Slim left town. |

Basically, you need one or more employers to sponsor you for a certain amount of regular salary (an amount that immigration cannot define exactly, but which they say must show that you can actually live on). Those sponsors cannot be private student lessons, but full-fledged employers who can show tax records and proof of being a business.
However, like I wrote in your other post, you cannot just get this initially. |
