I have been asked to prepare some activities for some of my students to present for a student evening. They are primary, middle school and high school students and the presentation should be 5 - 10 minutes duration. They can work alone or in groups of 2 or 3 and only 4 or 5 from each level will be asked to present something. Has anyone got any good ideas (short plays, poems) or good links to throw my way?
Thanks people.

I've suggested these before: Aesop's Fables. The stories are short, easy to act out (with very few props), and easy to understand. You can have one or two of your good English-speaking students narrate, while the "actors" act out the sceness. You can certainly put lines in the skit as well (The Fox and the Grapes - - Fox: "Those grapes are probably sour anyway"). There are dozens from which to choose. There are probably some Chinese parables that are similar so the audience can identify with them. |
