Any Simpsons fan here? I have modeled my life after Professor Frink and Comic book guy........
Recall the two epidoses involving Japan?
Once when the Simpson family was trashpicking at a dump, they found a box of soap with Homer's face on the box..
(the commercial for the soap was hilarious)
My favorite Simpsons episode was when they went to Japan, and worked in the factory disembowling squid..Anyone remember the company theme song? (..knife goes in, guts come out..)
They paid their way home after winning on a game show....I think George Takaei of Star Trek fame was the guest voice on that one....
Plus Homer's way of walking through rice paper walls was quite amusing...
Im curious..what do the Japanese think of the Simpsons? Is it a popular show in Japan? |

Ah yes, Homer and Mr. Sparkle - identical twins. When I lived in Nagoya, NHK televised the Simpsons (dubbed, of course). Not only that, but Springfield's first family were also the pitch "people" for C.C. Lemon and Grape (Japanese sodas).
