I noticed Entrailicus' (or Entrailicus's?) avatar was bananas when they first came into season and now kiwis and kiwis are now in the shops. Are you keeping us up-to-date with the seasonal produce of Turkey? COOL!
Also, I know who he was. Entrailicus was the Roman Emperor who used to kill his enemies by extracting their entrails live. Or the first Roman cook who made Kokorec?  |

What about seasonal fish. I never know which fish is in season.( I rarely know the English word for them either.) |

i used to run a restaurant called Angus Steak and Grill House in Bodrum when i was a student....it is still open dmb..if u are ever in Bodrum/Gumbet , eat there.it is opposite the Shamrock.... its Sirloin Steak is so famous, t-bone too...think of a 18 oz t bome steak with roast potatoes and some veg....  |

i came home about 10 o clock last night and my wife gave me sth to eat...it was a kind of potatoes, tastes like it was a bit burnt but indeed not...i learned that it was "yer elması" Jarusalem artichoke....really interesting |

Good to know... I had a guy at a vegetable stand give me one of those after I was looking at it curiously. I took it home but didn't know what to do with it!
