Hi
A yahoo group has been set up for any EFL teachers interested in joining/forming a union. To subscribe, go to [email protected]. There's quite a lot of discussion on it so far. It's not country specific yet, but if lots of UK-based teachers sign up we could always set up a separate list. |

Whatever happened to efltu.org? I just tried to visit there but google warned me of malware.
The yahoo group doesn't look up to much either. |

So shouldn't i just join one of the existing unions then? Surely, most ESL teachers are eligible for them?
The ones who are not are probably not in teaching for the profession but just getting a bit of extra money on the side. |

I'm not really in a position to advise you which union to join. I don't really know anything about them. That's why I made my initial inquiry into efltu |
