Does anyone know anything about this college? I was offered a job here by a recruiter and she is pressuring me for a decision. I wasn't able to find much on the web about it...any info/feedback will be appreciated!

What are they offering you, if you don't mind my asking?
(Also, you might have better luck asking at a Shanghai-specific site, like www.Shanghaiexpat.com, where there's an abundance of locals.) |

They are offering me 4500 rmb plus 600 food allowance stipend for 14 teaching hours monthly.
(plus in the contract says I might need to do extracurricular activities...I'm supposing things such as English corner, etc.) |

The pay sounds decent for the amount of hours, worked. Assuming, that is, that they're also including airfare and accomodation.
4500 total is probably a little low for Shanghai, but given the amount of hours they have you working, you'll probably have enough time to look for part-time work in the city. And there's plenty of good paying, part-time work in Shanghai. I know people who live there and survive on less. |

4500rmb is not good.
a school called Kai En offers 6400rmb for 16 hours.
Shanghai is expensive! |
