If this is a front to get people to sign up on E-bay I would consider this to be SPAM.

What will the survey be used for? The questions seemed kind of personal to me.

I'm not sure where you got that idea from.
If you click on the link you will see that it is a survey to go towards research for a book I am working on.
My email address is also on the survey page so if anyone has any questions/problems they can email me and I will answer them.

I clicked on the webpage at http://www.jojoebi.com and there was a link to becoming an associate for e-bay. You use the same provider and have the same email name. I have no idea if they are connected but i was trying to connect the dots.

I responded to your survey, anyway.

Yes, www.jojoebi.com is my site, it is mainly there to sell my design stuff using cafepress.com, I have got other pages on there too and some associcate links, which at the end of the day is just like having advertising space on your site. The associate link for the e-bay thing is for an e-book that explains how to use e-bay as a tool to make extra money, it also has a lot of good tips for making money through the internet, associate links being one of them. I have bought the book and I recommend it to anyone who has some spare time to sit down and read it then impliment it's ideas. I don't get any money for having the link on the site but I do get 50% of the profits if a book is sold through my link. It is not a scam or a rip off, if I thought it was I wouldn't have it on there.

I hope this clears things up, it doesn't have anything to do with the teach in Japan ebook I am working on except that anyone who wants to set up an associate link so they can make money from my book, can do. (Once I have finished it). Although I haven't stated that anywhere yet.

I also hope that I'm not breaking any eslcafe rules by asking people to fill in the questionnaire, I didn't mean intend to mislead anyone.

Thanks you Paul for filling it in, and everyone else who has also done so. Sorry I can't send you any real beer!

I dont have a problem with the survey, its the commercial advertising aspect that bothers me, that people will use ESL cafe to personally profit through connected links, banners, or in-your-face advertising.

As it stands the survey does not break any board rules and I will let it stand as is.
