Anyone ever written anything about their time in Japan. A memoir, novel, novella, short story etc. And if so, has anyone ever had their writing published? Just curious to know as I'm working on something at the moment. Thanks |

There's been quite a few. If you take the time to do a google search you'll see.
As far as publishing in this day and time, anyone can publish. Its not long ago where publishing was a tight knit group etc. POD(publishing on demand), Self Publishing, E-publishing, traditional publishing houses, and hybrid combinations of all of the above abound.
For a good resource list of such and more you can use this website:
http://www.hipiers.com/publishing.html
Its the website of a SciFi author known as Piers Anthony and he's talked about the pitfalls in the industry and the list on the link is of various types of publishing groups and his info on them. You can also search through his archives of his news letters on the subject as well as other aspects of writing.
Hope that helps. |
