I have a Polish friend who is DELTA qualified and is looking for summer work in the UK. What are the possibilities of non-native speakers finding work? |

Probably not relevant to your friends case, but maybe useful for others... In the FE sector (at least in London) there are definitely non-native speakers working - with a DELTA I would think it would be possible...
As for the private sector and summer schools I cant say anything because I have no experience in those sectors. I've got a suspcion that it would be difficult because the students have often come to the UK specifically to study English - so they probably expect natives (rightly or wrongly), but I dont really know. |
