I'm going to be moving into a new apartment in early May and I'm already looking into options for TV and internet. Jcom seems like the best bet, but there website doesn't give much information and when I call the number they give I get a message in Japanese.
Does anyone have Jcom and can you tell me if they have english speaking operators and sales people? |

Ive got J com in my apartment in Kobe. Digital Cable TV and fast internet for 9800 / month. My Landlord (foreigner) got made the initial call for me , but the the sales guy could speak enough english. Whereabouts do you live?
I agree the website is useless. |

If you call and ask if the person speaks english they will transfer you to an english-speaking representative or they will have him call you back. It took me a few days to finally hook up with one but they are pretty persistent in trying to reach you. I've got digital cable and highspeed internet for about 9000 yen per month with 3 free months of Wow Wow (movie channels). The selection of english channels is a bit limited but you do get some basics like CNN, Fox, Discovery, Animal Planet, etc., so if you're really hard up for english tv it's worth it. |

I live in Odakyu-Sagimahara. Right now I'm debating between getting Jcom or going with a Sky Perfect dish and Yahoo BB. Do you get more channels with Yahoo BB? |
