Yes, I am working for those guys in China. What do you want to know about this company with the "lovely" name?

Hi ChinaTom,
I am being interviewed for a position making materials for the sweetly named company. I have seen what they have on the net, and it seems OK, quite innovative even, but I know they also make DVDs and CDs? Do they/you use their own materials at your school? If so, what do you/your students/your coworkers think of them? You can pm me if you like, or post here.
Any information is very welcome,
Thanks
Guty

Hi Guty,
Welcome on board haha (joking only). Here my answers to your question that will hopefully help you in your choice about your job.
We are having (as you have seen) a wide range of integrated solutions to support the learning process of our students. Target is to cover them wherever they are and whatever they do. We have SMS, PDA tools, computerized learning and translation tools and so on. Everything is embedded in an integrated system. And yes we are doing since recently a product called Movielearn (I think that this is what you are referring to). This is quite new and the hope is there that it will revolutionize the world of computer aided learning. It is not our own DVDs. We do not dare to say we are better then Hollywood. We rip Hollywood movies apart and integrate help, explanation and learning into it. This way we created an integrated fun learning tool. You can find more information about this on www.movielearn.com.
I am working in the China school (before I was working in Cebu) and have the opportunity to talk to users and students every day. The feed back is throughout positive and everybody thinks that it is adding great value to the classroom teaching. Apart from that I am also talking to online students that never have been in touch with the school and here, as well as inside the school, the feed back is very positive on these tools.

If you are having more questions, please let me know and Ill be happy to answer
ChinaTom
