Can anybody give me any job suggestions for teaching in Monterrey for this fall? I have 3 years adult ESL experience, will have a Master's in TESL, and speak decent Spanish. I prefer to work with high school or adults.
Also, I heard that Monterrey is really expensive; how much would a 2 bedroom apartment run? If my husband gets the job he's applying for, he'll make about $900 U.S. a month, and I don't really know what I can expect to make . . .
Thanks for any info! |

Probably at least 3,500 pesos would be the miniumum if furnished. If you are willing to buy your own stove, refri, etc. the rent will be cheaper and you will have more places to choose from. |

I am currently living in Monterrey.
For a two bedroom apartment, you should be looking at around 4500-5000 pesos - the cheapest.
Send me an email if you decide to move down here. My boyfriend and I would love to meet new people!

Good luck! |
