I am just finishing an ESL job in Aguascalientes. It has been great. Good weather (not too hot), friendly people, safe, affordable accommodations, and little English (a great place to learn Spanish). Too bad I have to miss the Feria, an internationally acclaimed festival. 3 weeks long!!!

The students were the best, all professionals, lots of fun. Classrooms were in the work place. The focus was on practising speaking. The students can tell you anything you need to know about life in Mexico. It is hard to say who is teaching who.

The school, The American School Of English Language, is in the process of expanding. They were innovative and open to new ideas. You can be as creative as you like. Check it out: www.americanschoolofenglish.com/english_mex

You didn't mention what the school pays, the work hours, contracts required etc. unless that is in the website which I haven't had opportunity to check yet. Could you touch on the cost of living and rental prices there for us as well, please?

The website doesn't exist so it won't answer my questions.

Samantha,

I googled the name of the school and found this, the correct, name of the website: www.theamericanschoolofenglish.com . I too was wondering about the details of the working conditions at this place...

You are a better net detective than I! I could only find The American School of English which is in Seattle, Washington and obviously has no connection to this Geocities website you discovered.

Samantha,

At first, all I found was that school in Seattle. Then I added "Mexico" to the search parameters and found what we were looking for. Good luck!
