has anyone heard of BASCELT British Association of State Colleges of ELT which is a valdating body in the UK ?

If a tertiary college fulfills certain requirements re their EFL courses, student care, recreational and cultural activites, etc., it can apply to be a member of BASCELT. It's the same as private language schools being recognised by the British Council or ARELS.
