What are the possiblities for Medical Insurance while in Mexico? Since we are going to be there too long to keep our coverage here, plus it is very expensive in the US (as I'm sure you all know), I need to find insurance to cover us there. I would go without any coverage, knowing that medical care in Mexico is so much less than here, but it makes me a little nervous to not have any insurance. Can anyone recommend a good, reputable company that could insure us for about a year? Since my husband is not planning to teach on a long-term contract, getting insurance through an employer would probably not be possible. Any recommendations? Thanks, Dana

There are a number of companies; it's a matter of checking out what they offer and how that matches up to your needs. Grupo Nacional Provincial may be an option.
