I'm planning to go to Hanoi soon to teach and one thing I'm not sure about is the visa? I'm Australian. What's the go? Should I enter on a holiday visa and sort it out once I'm there? Do the schools do it for you?
AMYJ posted a query about business visas a month ago, with no replies. I'm new to this game. I'm sure I'll stumble through, but any advice would be much appreciated.

| Not sure if it's different for Australians, but I and my friends entered on a tourist visa, extended that once in the country and then got a business visa through a travel agent. But your school will probably help you with that if you're teaching under contract. Some teachers continue to teach on tourist visa. |
