Alas my time in Thailand is drawing to a close, and I shall be returning to the UK for an English summer school job in June.

Altough I initially came to Thailand to teach English, I have in actual fact been teaching Maths and Science for the last year.

I have roughly a month before I leave, and would like to kill some of my spare time by brushing up my English teaching skills.

This makes voluntary work an ideal option, though I'm not averse to any temporary/part time posts that would pay.

I'm open to all age groups, but the 11-15yr old would be best as this is the age group I'll be teaching in the UK.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Well, there's this

http://www.thai-dragonfly.com/

but you'd have to pay for the privelage. Understandable, perhaps if you're not experienced. But experienced...?

Another option might be to take a trip. How's your Thai? Head for an economicaly deprived town and I'm sure your offer would be very much appreciated. You wouldn't be lacking for food & accomodation, but it would be advisable to leave any 'western' notions of food & accomodation at BKK. However, there are other pleasures which could have a 'compensationary' dimension. Smile
