I'm going to visit some relatives in Lviv near the end of May(never been to Ukraine before) and I would appreciate any information about good schools, working conditions, etc.

I'm currently teaching in an Intensive English Program for foreign students in a Canadian university and speak passable Ukrainian if that helps.

I.H. have-or did have a school in Lviv and as you probebly know, from 1st of May to 1st of Sept Yushenko has abolished visas for many foreigners, no doubt because of the Eurovision contest etc.I don't know if that applies to Canadians as well, but you will find the atmosphere in Ukraine has definitely improved since they kicked-out the old regime!

I think that Ukraine is allowing EU citizens entry without visas until September. I sent my papers in to the Ukrainian consulate in Canada and it only took 2 weeks to get it back. I think the cost was about $65.
