|
|
I was thinking of enrolling in the Work-Study program in Langauge Link in Russia.
in the program, you learn a TEFL course for about 3-4 weeks (Not a CELTA accredited one) and then for the next few weeks you work for 18 hours a week teaching and the rest of the week learning Russian.
Has anyone tried this? I like this because it incorporates Russian language into the 12 weeks along with teaching, learning, TEFL course etc and it doesn't seem to be a killer with all the split shits like BKC has. I thought it would be a good place for me to start in Russia.
Would I get a nice TEFL job after this? or am I better off going for a CELTA accredited course such as the BKC one. |

Much of this subject has been answered recently, try the search on language Link, as I feel some of the members might not want to repeat. Afterwards ask more specific questions.
Have you checked Language Links website? Which country will you be applying from? best from your own country and get the free accomadation and proper contract. What kind of hours do you expect to work?
What kind of travelling is involved from your accomadation, and from work to work? How much will you be paid? Will you have to pay for the training?
What costs are involved for me, before I start working? Will you arrange my flight and work visa etc free of charge? These are the anwer to some of the questions you need to find out about.
Recommendations depend on your personal situation |
