I will be arriving in Taiwan during the first week of June and will be looking for work immediately. I am planning on staying for the whole year and want to find a job that pays a monthly salary.

I have to fly back to Canada for a week in September for my sister's wedding. I will only be able to go for a week especially because I will already be cutting it close on the 180 day.

How will Taiwanese employers react to this?
Should I tell them before getting a job?
Will this prevent me from getting work?

I am definatelty coming to Taiwan and I am definately going to the wedding as well.

Given these two points how should I best go about avoiding problems in making both a reality?

Is it unheard of that an employer would be ok with this from the beginning?

Any input ideas or information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
