Okay, for all of you that are still going to work for this place, even after my several warnings here: I say GOOD LUCK! Have a nice summer. You may actually have a good experience with this company (formally HELEN CHINA TEFL) and they may have turned themselves around. If so, then Bravo!!
A few people have sent me private emails telling me that they have decided to work there, fully knowing how I feel about the place. Then they ask me a host of questions about textbooks, supplies, just-how-bad-can-it-be, etc. etc. etc.!!!
I haven't pulled any punches about this place, but there were some people that OBVIOUSLY weren't as displeased about the program as I was. Why not contact them? Why not ask "John" for emails of people that were happy with the place (suerly he can find at least one person to refer you to!)? They can probably appease you more than I can and they can put a positive spin on the place. You can come over here for the summer less worried and nervous about your trip.
I have answered the private emails and that's fine but, outside of warning people here, I've washed my hands of the place - - it was almost a year ago after all. Enough said. |
