				| Are "FREE" lessons worth the money?
I have seen many ads for "FREE" lessons. As of yet I haven't taken them up on the offer, mostly because I am not sure if they are a waste of time.

 What do you think...?

				| "Free" lessons in what?
I took some free lessons in Japanese at our friendship center, and yes, they were a waste of time. It was basically just a group of friends who already spoke Japanese hanging out and chatting in Japanese--this in a "beginning" class. And I, an absolute beginner, was lost.

But I doubt that's what you had in mind by "free lessons."
