Hola!
I will be spending the summer in Monterrey, I have a job and will attend ITESM but would like to find some friends to share what they know about the city!! I am currently an ESL instructor and am looking forward to my summer in Monterrey, but feel a little nervous not knowing ANYONE!! So HELP, if you can!!

| Hi Candace. I just wanted to give you the heads up on an ITESM policy, at least in my part of Mexico. They are very strict about that fact that you cannot work while attending classes. The reason being is that ITESM require you to have a student visa, and while in Mexico on a student visa you cannot get work authorization from Immigration. Worth checking out with ITESM in Monterrey ahead of time if this will will in any way impact your personal situation. |
