Has anyone heard of the programs Global Education Corporation (i know someone posted about this earlier but no one seemed to know so i thought i'd try again), Alliance Abroad, InterExchange, or Cultural Embrace? Are they valid at all?

Nope.
I wish I could be more helpful, but all I can say is that these companies have no name recognition at all in my corner of the Andes.
