Yeah, it was a cool project. It was so inspiring to see people work together.
The total cost of the house was around 25,000 pesos. There is lots of interest from locals to build their own-it sure beats the ugly/expensive concrete boxes that are the norm around here. They've even had wealthy people come by with their architect in tow, telling them they want a 'house exactly like this one'.
Plans are underway for another house-building project next year.

Let us know when the next building project is. I would love it if the project coincided with one of my vacations (as limited as they are). Cant think of a better way to spend a week or two with my son then helping out on a project like that.
