| It's incredible, isn't it? Every time I look at www.tefl.com job newsletter there's an ad for Bilkent. Always. Every week, every month... Either they are incredibly picky about who they hire, or....? |

last year i spent some tedious time filling in the lovely online form. bilkent got back to me, and asked me, knowing from this same application that i was currently working at a koleji, with 9-5 hours, when would be suitable for an interview.....they kindly gave me 2 or 3 options, all inside koleji working hours.
they told me, no, it wasn't possible to interview any other time as the committee only worked m-f, 9-4.30. from that i deduced that the working environment would be similarly flexible and that if i needed an emergency appendix removal or the like, it would also probably have to happen between those hours. thus i don't work at bilkent this year...... |
