Hi!
I will be teaching in China this summer for 4 weeks. I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience teaching in summer camps in Zhejang? What were your thoughts? did you experience any problems? Is there anything that I should be aware of before I leave?
I know this is a very broad email, just want to hear about other experiences?

Natalie: a short-term job sounds like a great way to dip the old toe in the China ESL water, and find out whether China is for you or not. I haven't 'done' a summer camp myself, but it's been suggested to me by another poster. Hope you get some replies.
I did hear that Zhejiang is nice (no personal experience though). |

Natalie,
I have no summer camp experience in Zhejiang, either, but I taught in Hangzhou for a couple of years. Expect the summer to be VERY hot and humid. I live in Texas, so it's about the same here as there.
Hope you have a good experience! |

Hi, everyone
I was accepted to teach at Zhejiang Summer camp this year, but I will not be able to make it there.
I've got a job arranged for next 2 years and my employer wants me to start from July 1st instead of September 1st. Cannot refuse you see.....
I was wondering, maybe one of you would like to take my place there in Zhejiang???? |

What are the details? where is the job? for how long? ....
I am actually still waiting for my reply, but I definatly want to keep my options open. What would I have to do to apply for your position?

It's 'Summer program 2005 in Zheijiang University'.
The person responsible is John Zhou.
The job starts on July 11 and will last until August 21 ( I was accepted for 2 programs) .
They pay 5000 RMB per one program. |
