Hello,

Before the term ends I'd like to give an evening lecture on (introductory) Educational Psychology to my students.

I teach at a teacher's college, so many of the students will soon be English teachers themselves. Their own classes, however, are usually substandard and they are taught by the standard Chinese regurgitation, rote-learning method.

I think it would be interesting to teach about constructivism, the seven intelligences, and all that fun stuff, and then have a discussion with the students about American (or perhaps, Western?) and Chinese education systems. Hopefully this will prevent some students from following in the footsteps of their current teachers, who read every lesson from the textbook/tape recorder.

Unfortunately, my notes from Ed Psych classes in Uni are far, far away, and I seriously need to brush up on my Ed Psychology knowledge.

Can anyone recommend any good websites for Ed Psych? Sites that have lecture material and resources that I could use, perhaps some powerpoint slides, etc, etc?
