Hello everyone,
The call to go live abroad again is pulling at me and so I have been thinking about getting my TEFL certificate to be able to get a decent job working in Latin America. Specifically I am interested in Mexico, Costa Rica, Guatemala or Argentina. Can any give me some advice? Just to let you know, I taught English in Mexico for about 6 months in the state of Guanajuato, so if I go back to mi querido Mexico, I'll want to go somewhere else. And I've also lived in San Jose, Costa Rica but that was for a year and for my undergraduate degree. I really enjoyed my time in Costa Rica but wasn't too fond of San Jose, so I have no desire to go back there. I guess part of me is torn about whether to return to a country I've already been in and may feel more comfortable in or go somewhere new. Does anyone have any recommendations in terms of places they really love or even any warnings of places not to go to?
Thanks!! |

Most likely Mexico or Guatemala. But where specifically I am not sure. Definitely not DF that's for sure and not a really small town either.
I am from L.A so I like cities. |

It's hard to advise someone, as we all have very different tastes.
I hate LA (despite being born on Randy Newman's birthday). And I love Mexico City. |
