Hello. I understand how difficult it is to make a living in Mexico teaching English at a language school, but does anyone have any advice for me trying to find work in Mexico with a MA TESOL degree? Would you suggest only looking at universities? Do you think it's possible to make a good wage (even, possibly, save money) from the better jobs you might be able to get with this degree? Any advice for conducting the job search? (I've read through the posts here, so I have some idea... but there isn't much that's MA-specific).

What you could do it the following.

Find out where you want to teach. Than look at the Mexican Yellow pages. Their website is this.

Here you can find a lot of school who teach english.
Other good sites for work in Guadalajara are.

Also i recommend to just go. This is the best way to find a job. It is easier to find a job in the bigger cities.

Also buying newspapers when you are their is a good idea but just visiting is better.
