I am a second generation Chinese imigrate from Singapore. Age 47 and graduated from Strathclyde University in Glasgow in Mechanical Engineering. I have been in the manufacturing sectors for over 20 years, 50/50 as an employee and employer.
I am in Wuxi. Jiangsu for the past three months, and am going back as I have only a 3 months Visa. I am looking for ways to stay longer here the next time I come, so I can do my trading business here. I am kinda of semi-retired.
I have thought of a volunteer teacher or attending university to study Chinese language and culture (4 yrs).
Any suggestions? I do not a high salary just for a reson to stay here longer ( at least a year)
In 2000, I have close my manufacturing business and tried working as a salaryman again. Boy!! it hard to be an employee again after 10 yrs in business. So I entered into financial sector. Have been a forex trader since 2003. I spent 12 hours a day and it's my passion now.
These three month I have set up a group of locals to do my trading activities. Just taking a monitoring role. It like a small home-based business.
Cheers.

Why can't you get a business visa?
What did you think of Glasgow?
