I am currently in Taiwan and thought I would head over to Vietnam for a while before heading home. I then started to think that I might look for work there. Does anyone know anything about the Tyndale school in Hai Phong or has anyone spent much time in that city?
I am interested to hear what people have thought. Thanks |

I noticed a lot of people have popped in to read this thread but no one has put in their own two cents worth. Is it because know one has worked in Hai Phong or for Tyndale School? In any case, I'm looking into a job offer with them and would appreciate any news about either the school (I know they have other institutes throughout Asia) or the city. Of course, the people offering the job to me have painted quite an idyllic picture and an outside perspective would be appreciated.
Thx.
Dave. |

I met the lady who runs the academic department at Tyndale. She seems fair and she knows her onions.
Haiphong is a bit drab. Cold and damp for three months and then unpleasantly hot - Spring lasted about 15 seconds this year.
I do not know enough about Tyndale to be able to recommend it to anyone who does not have other motives for spending time in Haiphong but I do know that it is far better than "the other place". |
