I was wondering if University Teachers have a club where they can get discount airfares.
Thanks |

It's been more than a year since I last used it, but I have used my Foreign Expert Certificate (the red book) 4 times in the past 5 years to get a 30% discount on domestic flights. You must book it through the airline's own agent and there are only a limited number of seats/dates on a flight. In other words, it's like western discount flights where they set aside only 3 or 4 seats for the special discount or a "blackout period" (e.g. Spring Festival) may apply.
Again, it's been more than a year since I last used my FEC to book, so YMMV-Your Mileage May Vary. But I haven't heard that the policy has changed. |

Same applies if you have a teacher's ID card from your school...local airlines only, domestic flights only.
Cheers! |
