| I'm looking for a summer camp gig and one school asked me to write out an application and send a copy of my passport? Shady or no? What do you think? |

Yup,
You can send them a scanned copy of the front page of your passport in a pdf file. This is what I have done for every job I have applied for. |

| The problem can be that sometimes the passport office takes a while to process your 'application for a copy passport' and issue the passport. |

| Usually they want jpg image of the data page of your passport. Nothing suspicious about that. |
