Hi guys,
When I arrive in Japan my mate wants me to bid for a heap of computer and electronics good on Yahoo Auctions Japan. Currently Yahoo Auctions Japan doesn't allow you to bid if you live outside Japan.
Can anyone tell me how shipping within Japan would work for when I actually do win some auctions? If I win an auction, I'm assuming the seller would use a courier company to deliver the item to me. So how do the courier companys work in Japan? Would they deliver the item directly to my door? What would happen if I'm not at home when the courier arrives? I wouldn't want to have to go and pick up a heavy computer monitor or set of speakers from the post office (or wherever) seeing as I won't have a car.
Any ideas?
