Okay, I did a search for "Valencia" and came up with mostly old posts. I know this Spain forum doesnt seem to get a ton of traffic, but if you're l=in VLC and reading this post a reply.
I'm American (with Irish passport), 30, been here 2 weeks and hunting for work. I know this is a terrible time of year to be looking, but I'm here and I'm unemployed...

I'm not really looking for job leads, but if you have any, I'd be eternally grateful.
I am more just looking to see who is out there. I havent met many people here yet and I'm looking to socialize a bit more. My Spanish sucks, so thats part of the reason I've not met many peeps yet.
I'm down to go out for drinks or see some music or just walk around el carme. whatever.

We are all not in Valencia, and many of us aren't even in Spain! Check out British or Irish sites about teaching English in Spain. Speaking for myself, as an American, I'm quite jealous. Mr. Green

I normally live in Valencia but am currently in the UK working as my contract finished earlier. I will be back sometime in August if you are still around then I'll meet you for a drink.

I'm sorry to tell you but your chances of finding teaching work now in Valencia are nil. In August they will be even less than that. If you are there then you will also find that a lot of shops and bars close during August as well.
