Hello everyone. I know that 2006 is a long way off to be looking into things for Spain, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to be prepared. I am currently teaching in Japan (and loving it), but already have plans to live in Spain for a year. My boyfriend has a great job there (not teaching) and we are planning to live there for at least a year. Unfortunatly, I do not have an EU passport. Neither does he, but he can get a working visa because he has a company to help him get one.
I do not have a degree, but do have 3 years of university and will have over 1 year teaching experience. I am more than willing to teach chidren, as that is what I am doing now. I do not really know what to do about the visa requirements, or of how to find a job in Spain without actually being there. I doubt it works the same as Japan, as I have a working holiday visa here and Spain doesn't offer one. I am Canadian, in case it matters for Visa purposes.
Anyways, just wondering if anyone had any information or advice for what I should do to be able to stay and work in Spain for a year. We will be arriving in Spain sometime in late May or Early June 2006.
Thank you all for your information, please excuse any spelling or grammatical mistakes.
