Hi all, a friend of mine (really), is thinking about doing a TESL certificate program at ITTO in Guad. Does anyone know anything about this place or have any experience with their program? Thanks. |

Hi,
Dont have any experiences my self but i know some people who had and were very satisfied. There were more post on this forum about ITTO and I already gave to somebody an email address from somebody who did the course. As we have a school for spanish and English in Tlaquepaque we sometimes asked for Teachers there and the two times we called all the new teachers had already a job so I think they keep their promise by finding their Teachers a job.
If you need any more info just ask,

I graduated from ITTO in 2003. At that time I would not have recommended it. However, now it is my understanding that they have new teachers who are qualified to teach. In other words they have Master's Degrees. It depends on what you like, if you like the big inner city, ITTO is a good choice. If you like the small city and more cultural setting in Mexico, try IECTC, which is certified by Via Lingua and is in Ciudad Guzman about 2 hours south of Guadalajara in the mountains. |
