|
|
Hi all,
Am obviously very interested in the BAe job, but, having no Middle East or Saudi experience, I would love to get some feedback from those currently working for them.
Main questions :
- How are the living conditions ? Compound or off-site ? What are the facilities available to people ? Is it a sociable environment ?!
- Management / Resources / Support ? How well set up is it ? What books are used ?
- Students ? I've taught many different adult / business classes, and always like to have a fun, relaxed element if possible among the serious grammar bits ! What kind of atmosphere is there in these groups ?
- Is it possible to bring a girlfriend, not a wife, in with you ?
Any answers and even more related info would be greatly appreciated - thankyou !!!
Regards,
Dunk. |

you asked,
" possible to bring a girlfriend " .... Do you know anything about life here?
All g irlfriends are illegal, booze illegal, women showing forearms illegal,
men in shorts is "haram". I suuggest you read up on life under Islamic law b4 you book a flight. |

You go to BAE for the money.
Forget about professional development or fun activities etc.
Get through your work hours collect the money and look to do something in your free time to better yourself.
Package 50K pounds plus benefits
Accommodation is good but shared usually.
All meals provided.
Good hols.
Three tickets.
Multi visa and only half hour to Bahrain for booze and birds
Good facilities ...squash, swimming pool, tennis, football pitch, gym, snooker.
If you are going to teach in Saudi you may as well go to BAE as it pays the most and every place sucks anyway so you may as well get as much money as possible. |

Cheers Mark, very helpful. Facilities sound good and teaching bearable.
Are there any female teachers that you know of either at your place or elsewhere ( asking for a friend ) ?
How's the security aspect ? |
